Is the car still driver friendly on the streets if you so choose to take it out on the town?
Stock torque tube. Stock suspension except for QA1 shocks. I drive the car weekly but change the shock setting for street driving verses drag racing. The shocks are adjustable and can be set to feel like stock when driving on the street.

I hope you make it into the nines. I am running stock axles and a DTE stage 2 diff. My advise to you is to make sure that your drivetrain (trans, diff, etc) are strong enough to handle the 408 with the 200 shot. When you try to hook that amount of power to the ground you will soon find the weak link. Good luck. Jackson is a great track.

Thanks Julio.

Thanks Joe. I ran at Darlington the next weekend and ran 9.932@136.84 to bump it down a little lower.

I got the diff out last night and just as I suspected, the ring gear was missing at least six teeth. Other than the pinion being trashed, I think that the rest of the diff is OK. Oh well, I've got all winter to fix it.

I don't really know what caused it to break. No wheel hop or sudden power surge, it just broke. The gears were suppossedly croyoed from DTE.

How do you set the QA1's for drag racing? I just bought them but have not installed them yet. Any suggestions will be appreciated!

I suggest setting both front and rear shocks in the middle (6) position to begin and for street driving. At the track you can adjust either looser or tighter until your times slow down. Each car is different depending on several variables such as power level, auto or manual, driving style, etc.

HELLO TO YOU TOO SUNSHINE.

Have you ever considered getting a splitter and a wing?

SUNSHINE? No, I have not considered adding a splitter or wing. The car is very stable at high speeds. I like the more factory appearing look anyway.
