Nick, I'm done for this year as I broke the rear end at the darlington race, but we can get together in '08.
Has to be next year for me too!!!
My engine and trans are still out.
Let me know if you need anything for your rear, I keep hardened output shafts and HD clutchs and springs here. Can get motive gear sets, bearings, etc.

That C5 is simply bad azz and I love it. It reminds me of my old 98 C5 with its N/A 427 C5R motor and A4 tranny (with hard hitting Yank 4000 stall) I owned several years ago.
The car in question here though is full second faster but still reminds me of my old auto trannied 427 C5 the way it launches and sounds (but this car is a full second faster).
Is that 9.94 run N/A or with some of the GIGGLY Juice (I assume)? Either way, that is REALLY A FREAKING INCREDIBLE CAR and if that is N/A (and i think it is) I REALLY LOVE that rocket of a C5!
I see in the title thread after re-reading it that this bad to the bone beast is N/A. FREAKING A is all I can say!

Yes it is Carolina Dragway in Jackson, SC. Great track and great people there. I ran there on the last Saturday in November and then at Darlington the next week where I ran 9.93-9.95.
427 N/A engine with hydraulic cam, GM unported LS7 intake, TB and designed to run on 93 octane fuel. RPM Level V 4L60 A4 transmission, DTE rear (broken right now), Yank TC and CCW drag pack wheels.

What are you running as far as heads?
That thing moves out of the hole really well for a Y-body.

What about the torque tube? Still stock? What did you do to the suspension. It really squated. It cant be stock. How is this setup for daily? I have a 99 FRC that im thinking about doing a Cartek 427 in, but I could never go Auto because im not that deep into drag. Is the car still driver friendly on the streets if you so choose to take it out on the town?
