Default Dyno with 100mm

Dynoed today at Williams Performance. The only change was the 100mm MAF. I'm not saying this proves anything since the increase is pretty dramatic. Map was 95 and now is 98kpa at peak power.
Look good?
Hp 447 to 470
Tq 411 to 437

Was the before dyno performed on the same day, and was there any tuning for the new maf prior to the after dyno?

The before dyno was done in November, I have the same AFR as then. We had tried more timing then but more timing didn't produce more power. This time +3 degrees over the previous timing added 9hp. Different days might cause some changes, but this is an awful lot and I don't know why or I might bottle it.
The new MAF needed a whole new set of values and it's still not right on the high end.

Stock TB. It's a totally stock crate LS7 except for ARH LT's. See my signature for details.

Thanks TLewis. I don't doubt that your TB will produce more than the stock TB. I have some experience with billet TB's. Nick Williams used my car, with a moded 346and Fast intake to develop his 90mm. There was no question that more power was made. However, I can't describe how happy I am with the power of this engine and how driveable it is. When it was first installed the plan was to do some TB, intake and cam work this spring. I have changed my mind and it is staying totally stock. I can't floor it under 60mph on the street, now.

I kind of got caught up in my own excitement. As I had mentioned we did 3 pulls. Nick nailed the AFR for the 2nd pull and then nailed the timing on the 3rd pull. I should have mentioned this.

Aye that would explain the good results, a maf alone should not provide a HP increase like that, Overall though, great numbers! You must be really happy with how that thing runs

If you go back and read what was done you'll see we ended up with basically the same AFR as the last dyno session and 2* more timing. In the last session it would not take more timing. This time 2* resulted in 9 hp more.
I tried it today from 60mph. Any lower and it spins. There is a definate bigger kick. Yes, I'm very pleased.

JV,
Thanks, it's nice to get results that were unexpected, whatever the reason. I really don't make any claims, but it would seem that with these results and others I've read about, it's worth trying if it's for a big cube engine.
