Im considering running the AFR 205 with 59cc and a cometec .040 gasket. Cam will be a MS4 on a 111 LSA. Any thoughts on the compatibility of these paired together. I also have a 25
pulley to install.

Other parts I would like to do at the same time is a ported 90/90 , jesel rockers and meizer wp and QTP cutouts. My hopes are for close to 500RWHP NA.

Mods I have all ready are

Kooks LT
Kooks OR-X 3"
Pacecars
N20
ExoSkel
DTE Brace
BeCool Radiator
160 therm

I would think your numbers are very possible with this setup. I'm not sure if the afr's are worth an extra $2300 over z06 heads. If it was me i would upgrade the valve springs to handle the ms4 lift and run with that. Ported fast 90/90 is money well spent. Forget the electric water pump and jesel rockers. Not enough bang for the buck, and of couse do the underdrive pulley with the cam swap. Just my opinion

Expect to flycut with that setup. Its not always best to have the biggest cam possible. I have AFR 205 59cc heads, will be running .040 gasket, and a g5x3 cam on my new forged shortblock. I will also have a FAST 90/90 ported by Tony Mamo and my heads are actually going this week for his to clean them up and port them out more. Im also shooting for 500 rwhp.

If I were you I would actually get a custom spec cam to work best with your setup. IMO, if your running nitrous like I am going to do, I would opt for more lobe seperation than the 111

Jesel rockers may be an issue. See thread in tech started by Arkay99. I agree, get a flycut tool. I would speak with Tony on your setup, he can help optimize for the AFR's.

I would check, but I'm 99% sure that you would have to flycut for that setup.

Alot of guys run the G5X3 and AFR's and have great results. When and if I change my cam this is what I will probably move to since I already have the AFR's.

Look at a pair of Trickflow heads if you already wanna spend the money. They have more ability to fit different cams w/o flycutting and I have seen a couple of dyno's at or close to 500RWHP with them.

I agree go with trickflow 215s milled to 59 or 60cc and everything else you stated. The MS4 and trickflow combo will ROCK trust me. Big power.
Go with the spec 3+ clutch.

Harland Sharp RR's have been flawless for me but the jesel rockers Ive heard are quality piece also.

Good Luck. My #s are very close and I have the stock LS6 intake, no EWP, no pullies.

Thanks for the replies. I have a ExoSkel all ready so no need for the spec. will look into the 215 as well.

Why not go with a proven package from a vendor?

trickflows have more p to v clearence than other heads, even you milled to 60cc I think you will be fine. But always best to measure.
