If you really must continue modification, the next step would be long tube headers with hi-flow catalytic converters and tuning. If you have 2.73 gears, a gear change to 3.42s is also a good modification. Just my .02.

Don't waste your money on a vararam, etc, etc, etc. Get a ECS Paxton Supercharger and be done with it.

What are your goals? What I mean by that is do you want a street car? Do you plan on tracking the car, IE drag race or road race. Do you care about milage? Do you care about drivability? How about emissions tests? All these thing have to go into the equation.

Now that being said, if all you want is a fast street car, than the SC is the way to go.

Good Luck

I heard the same if not better staying under 3,000 rpm's. ( I am not capable of that so I don't know for sure) After 3,000 rpm any power adder would need extra fuel to make the extra power
