Well I raced one from a roll with 580rwhp and 630rwtq from a 2nd gear roll and we were even to 130mph from a 40mph roll. The 2nd gear 40mph roll is a sweet spot for a 03up cobra due to the eaton instant torque. At the track on the other hand I personally think its easier to beat one. My car 60fts down to 1.5x's on a regular basis now with lots of experience and 16in ET streets and skinnies. My car only makes 444rwhp on a dyno jet. It matters what dyno he's getting his #'s from aswell. The car I raced actually has a his dyno chart of 610rwhhp715rwtq but its some weird dyno that you unbolt the rear wheels to use it and we know it dynoes less on a dynojet. Safe bet is to say 475rwhp/435rwtq on your car and I think you will slap him from a roll or track IMO depending on drivers.
That' a LOT of power to put down especially on a Mustang Dyno!!!
He's got to be pushing 30lbs of boost. To put that much to the wheels, he's gotta have around 750 at the motor!!!
Not sure I buy that...the general formula for boost is for every 1b of boost you gain 7% power. Assuming the motor alone makes 300, with 30lbs of boost it would be at 630.
no spray on the cobra, were going to go to e town this friday and see what the cars will do against each other
I should be there friday too.
Typically around 100rwhp less for the vette should be a good drag race.
Those are big numbers for a mustang dyno. If he gets traction, you'll have your work cut out for you.
Do either of you drag race? Any previous times?

All the cool **** is going on in the north...just ain't right...lol
So move up north! No hurricanes up here and we got good tracks.
Yeah but I love girls in bikini's at the beach on weekends...10 months out of the year. I will just have to visit the north. The wife is actually from Michigan...ha, a snow bunny !!
Maybe one day we can all meet up somewhere in between.
........And I agree with Rob on the 100 rwhp at least. 50 with him driving !!!

I havent ran the car in a couple years i was told i needed a cage at etown , my 1st pass back then was a 11.4 when i went for my second pass they told me to slow it down, however i launched it harder and barley beat a stang that ran a high 10.9 the track official asked if i sprayed the car and said i was to fast without a cage. They didnt give me a time slip and they ripped the slip in half that they gave to the other car. My friend with the cobra barley drives the car, it only has 9000miles. I really want to see what his car could do
Well how did things turn out? Did your vette beat that Cobra? What Et & MPH did you guys post?
we didnt get a chance to go all out with the cars, we were practicing our launches the 1st to passes since we dont have cages in the cars and he had to leave before the 3rd pass, he started having trouble with his car, he started to get a pinging sound from the motor. so we will make another attempt at this on sept 10 wheather permitting. I met up with Rob and his friend Troy from anger managment racing that night and they were both great guys to talk too
