According to weatherunderground, the DA calculates somewhere around -1500. I'm guessing my car is about 3300 with me in it.

Hey Gary, did you have any of your interior out of the car (ie, pass seat)? Thats pretty light, last time I went to the track, I checked in at 3420 lbs ( little over 1/2 tank) with me in it..

If you did remove any weight, what do you guesstimate is good for in terms of ET improvements?

i would think running the gto spares/small tires would knock off a fair amount of weight. maybe 1/4 tank of gas also. i know from my lightning days i never used more than a 1/4 tank of gas at the strip.

Juan,
Passenger seat was removed. I think I started with 3/8 tank and it dropped down to below a 1/4 tank. Oh I removed both floor mats and the air compressor this time.
Roughly every 100 lbs. is a 1/10.

Floor Mats!!! Your too funny Gary... I see big improvements on my times come next season.. Just in weight alone there is a tenth or two to be had somewhere in my car..

I have to try to get myself back on the top ten since you knocked me to the 11th position with your 10.99 pass..

So whats next on the agenda for you??

You may want AMR to tune/modify your car to optimize its performance. This could significantly move you up in just more than the top 10.
As for us, we feel that there is a 10.8x in the car. In order to attain it, the 60's should be in the mid to upper 1.4x range. Powershifting will also pickup some ET. We'll keep you posted. Thanks again.
