Total engine airflow Ls6 stage 2 ported heads
ported 90mm fast intake
Ls2 TB
30lb injectors
Dynatech full exhoust with highflow cats
.595/.579 cam
2800 stall converter (VIG)
3.42 gears
Car made on the dynojet dyno 417hp and 386torque
My question is am I in the ballpark or is something off?
Dyno should be used simply as a tuning tool. Don't worry about the numbers. Take it to the track and see what kind of trap speed it's turning before worrying about anything being wrong.
Probably in the ballpark seeing as you don't have long tubes. Add the longtubes and you should be at 440+. I am shooting for 450 - 470 on about that same combo with long tubes through a M6. Car should be done in a couple of weeks.
Actually I have long tubes and the specs on the cam are as follows
lift .595 .579
duration @ .006 tappet lift 281 289
I'm not very good with cams but I was told its preatty decent size. As to converter being locked I trully don't know I just droped off the car at the dyno and picked it up the next day. They didn't inform of any problems wih the car ather than they thought the converter was a little small for the cam.
Dont know @.050 what duration would be but seems like cam is little small i could be wrong, definetly u low on power i would expect atleast 430 Rwhp and 400 Rwt, but u have a auto they have more drivetrain loss than manual cars. But again u also have 3.42 gears which is little more than for auto (nothing wrong with it just reads ~5 hp low).
Also is that dynojet or mustang dyno, if mustang dyno than those #'s are just perfect.
Port the LS2 TB if its not ported yet, another 5-10 hp.
If the car drives good and u r happy just leave as is and enjoy the mods, at the most u r losing 10-15 Rwhp thats not big difference tho.
