haha new car parts...i had a new cam to put in that turned into cam, degreeing, and trans/diff
another update
engine bay is almost done...lacking motiviation to work long and hard
did the rack/tierods/flarenut fittings/steering wiring, powersteering cooler is tightened, waterpump installed, plugs installed, radiator, and fans...think thats it
tomorrow AM gotta do rad support and shroud along with the front springy spoiler thing and Im done until my adjustable pushrod comes in...then I'll quadruple check pushrod length and put my vavletrain/valvecovers/coilpacks back together and finish up my engine bay
hopefully next week IPS will have my custom mafless intake tube ready to roll

Did you get the wipe correct prior to measuring for pushrod length? Any shimming required to correct geometry will affect pushrod length.

car was already up and running...this was just a cam swap so nothing changed that would concern wipe...my wipe was perfect with the .050 washer supplied with the YT kit. my new cam has a slightly smaller base circle im thinking my 7.550s will still be fine but never hurts to measure especially since the tool is only 19 bux looking for .030-040 preload on my comp 850-16s

update, installed the shroud, rad support, front spoiler springy thing, alternator belts, filled with dexcool and water.
Just awaiting the pushrod so i can install my valvetrain, valvecovers, and coil packs
I'll be reinstalling my bridge/maf because i dont think the new intake tube will be ready in time
I'll go snap a pic of my progress
For now, I'll kick back and enjoy my day until 3pm when my buddy comes over with his mustang for a hood install....ahhhhhhhhh it never stops
