Your shifting issues probably lies there. A lot of Textralia clutch guys have trouble shifting with the stock master or even stock adjustable master. I'd recommend the Tick Master before any other drastic changes.
When I was running the Tex single I could not shift above 4500rpms, almost like a gear lockout feeling. After the master change it shifts like butter even at 6800+ rpms.

I guess its possible but I really don't think its that.
Did you rule out the master yet? Thats a lot easier/cheaper fix if that is the problem.
I knew mine was bad because it wouldn't shift any more and when I took off hard it made a strange HOWLING noise, like Fartpipe's X-Girlfriend when she saw him coming home each day after work.
ok...new clutch in and bottom all buttoned up. Lowered car to bleed clutch and slap the shifter back in and got locked out. Key laying on the seat Would have been an hour and a half round trip to go get the key. Heck with that....finish up later this week.
Not too bad of a job really, (except trying to find someone else's tools in a strange box) took us about 3 hrs out and 5 hrs back in total. Spent over an hour of that time setting up the clutch..damn shims. Some are 0.018 and some are 0.08. Playing with hairs...hard to get it perfect !! By the time I break it in, it might be a little cooler. It was so hot in that metal garage...ughhhhhh !! Nice having a lift though.
Hope to do the Silverado diff next weekend and be done with this crap for awhile !!!
Monster seems to be doing ok....they chatter like any other aggressive single...some require the tick for shifting...
Just a heads up, all of our units that are installed and broken in properly will not chatter after the 500 mile break in. And all of our units are designed, and will work perfectly, with the stock hydraulics. If your Vette has a lot of miles we recommend the Tick, otherwise the stock hydraulics are good to go.
We've got customers cutting 1.44-1.60 60ft's consistently with our units at the track and daily driving them. The thing that is most important is to make damn sure you get the clutch that we offer that matches not only your power rating, but also your driving habits.

Nick, you need to get 500 miles on it by Friday so you can come down to Atco. I'll be there with some friends. I'm gonna hit 11's and be the fastest 6 speed on the "List"
