PS what is the LS1 bolt-on record? Is it the at the top of the 1/4 list here - 11.62?
Yes, that's it. It was set by 'Face' (Mike B.) from Long Island years ago in an automatic coupe.
My friend Artie was a close 2nd (also a coupe automatic but he still had stock manifolds and cats on his) with an 11.63.
Putting my skinnys on the front - I have them, just havent used them yet.
Getting a manual seat track for the driver's seat.
Hopefully the clutch holds up through all this madness.

Wow this was made with full fronts and a passanger seat? That manual seat track will knock off a decent amount of weight(I did the exact same thing last year). Are you going to remove the sway bar too?
You can always run 4 lugnuts on each tire to save weight.
You really dont need that 5th lugnut so why carry it along?
Even I wouldn't go as far as to run only 4 lugs per wheel.

That's true. The two things Jon has going for him is that his car is slightly lighter than Pete's to begin (even before any reductions) and he is a very good driver.
Though obviously Pete has come A LONG way since those first few passes I saw him make last year LOL, he's obviously doing a phenomenal job out there now.
Without gears Jon might not actually be able to run quicker than 11.7s which is still movin' for a bolt ons only LS1 C5.

Thanks, Marc.
His FRC isn't that much lighter than Capt's vert right?
j0n has about 60lbs on you. All other weight reduction mods being equal of course. But the FRC came manual tracks(right???), if so you will close that gap. Everything else will probably be the same, unless he decides to lose some lugnuts.
