Default hardened pushrods or no?

Seems as though I am gonna have some extra cash soon from taxes. Wasn't sure if I wanted to mod the vette or buy a carolina skiff, but the guys on the fishing website I am on are pushing me to mod the vette... go figure. Anyways, I have been looking at the prc 2.5 ls6 heads and the ms3 cam for quite some time now. The question is should I use hardened pushrods, or leave them as the weakspot in the valvetrain? I have heard some people don't use them because your chances of scoring a valve is much greater with the hardened rods.

do they...pushrod deflectioin will cost you power...I run 3/8 .065 wall 3 pc pushrods in my HC setup. Set up your valvetrain correctly and you wont float valves and bend them...and dont suck at driving and miss a shift and mechanically over rev it

ive had those heads and they worked well for me. but save a little extra and get the tfs. isnt usafzo6 selling some or have they been sold. i ran hardened pushrods in 2.5 prc heads and of course with the tfs so answer would be yes

I would not do a cam/spring swap without adding hardened pushrods. The stock pushrods are very weak.

You don't want a weakspot in the valvetrain.
