As for the clutch fluid yes I've been doing that aswell but i need to drive this damn thing its been months since i could drive it and now with the alternator replaced I can actually beat on it. I need some practice on shifting this car. The shifter throw is considerably longer then my C5 but smoother. I can tell the clutch feels smoother already with changing the clutch fluid repeatedly. I'm hoping all this homework pays off. I want to be sub 11.4's this time out on these tires. Then work my way down. Hoping to see 125mph plus this time out. Once getting the shifts perfect, good launch looking to edge mph up and the ET down.
FP, on a serious note, why aren't you going to get the tune before you go ? That could be 1-2 tenths !!

ABSOLUTELY NO MODS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to be like my big brother Gary and run a 10second pass with the car with nothing other then drag radials on the back and the huge 18in wheels hanging in the front! Trust me once thats done.... all hell is going to break loose!!!!!!!
Plus several of my friends that have a C6Z either modified or not have run like 11.2's at best mostly stock on DR's and some barely into the 10's with mods like headers/xpipe,catback,tune,vararam. So i want to make them look bad... cause thats what i do to my friends

I'm sorry i take back half of what i said about the truck. The truck gods have pee'd in my driveway with their leaking plows while shoveling snow to teach me a lesson. You didnt update us on the tranny situation? Covered 100% right?????????? What the real car??? The VETTE if you forgot you had it! My wife always says vettes will get you laid... trucks will always have a bed with nothing in it

Truck tranny parts on order. I didn't even bother to ask what parts. I just want to make a full pass without bouncing off my limiter !! JUST FIX IT...AUGHHHHH !!!

Vett is tuned, new plugs and all waiting on Pitt to get a job !! My no-compete contract expires on December 18th this year and maybe I will be back in the saddle. I drive it a couple times a week to the gym. If I am guaranteed a job, I might make MIR #2

I signed a No-compete contract that I wouldn't work for another Land Surveying firm in my county, and all adjacent counties for a period of 2 years if I was to leave the firm (even if laid off from a sour economy). I could have taken it to court and got it reduced to 12 months but I would have to pay all court costs and there isn't any work to do right now anyway. So...it isn't worth it, and I am hoping for a little economy rebound for 2011.
The kicker is, the contract read if the economy went bad and I was laid off during the first 5 years of employment, the contract was null and void. He waited till I had in my 5 years, and then pulled the trigger so I wouldn't take any clients with me. At the time I signed that, it looked as if we were on a ten-fifteen year roll of good times. Who would have guessed in 2003 that we would crash in 2007 ?

I always thought that, in order for the clause to be valid, employers had to prove (if taken to court) that the clause would not inhibit your ability to make a living in your surrounding area. Sounds like it IS inhibiting your ability. I guess there are ways around everything...especially if your signature is on it.

Yeah, I had it checked out by a lawyer. Judges in FL are upholding them for a reasonable length of time if they have specific language in them such as Personal relationships with clients...ect. He did his home work, and this is a right to work state ! December will be here quick, no worries !
