Default Few passes at the track

I have finally taken my 02 Supercharged ZO6 to the track this year and for the lack of seat time I've had, I am pleased with it this far. I definitely have some room for improvement and need more seat time. I also need some sticker rear tires and a line lock to get them to the ideal temp..

I had made around 12 runs total over 2 days, all over the place depending on my launches, tire spin, etc..

My best to date was

11.42 @ 126.7 mph with a 1.9 60'. This is in Colorado, with a corrected DA of 5549 FT.

Density Altitude = 5549 feet- ET MPH
---------------Uncorrected 11.4 @ 126.7
-----------------Corrected 10.56 @ 136.07

My Z has an A&A P-1 kit, 8.5 psi with meth, stock bottom end, just has headers, hi flow cats and GHL exhaust. Weighed 3580 with me in it (I'm around 218lbs).. On my last tune it made 653 / 560 corrected.

With some more time and a few tweaks I am hoping I can hit my 10.99 goal, but time will tell.

Nice going. Don't forget you get to live in Colorado so you have one up on most despite the horrible affects of altitude on cars.

Excellent Results. Wow the engine made almost 300 additional HP over most relatively stock LS6 engines with only 8.5 lbs of boost.

Exedy Triple and MT ET streets, which are only 255's.. They seem to be ok, once I hook them up. I need the line lock as my burnouts were not consistent as I had to hold the brakes down hard enough to keep it still that it wanted to bog it, plus they kept pulling us too far forward out of the box..

Thanks for the positive comments, I am shooting for that 10.XX at our elevation.

Yep! Figure they dyno in the 340-360 range stock, it has been as high as 660, but we dropped the timing down a bit. 0 knock, 22* IAT's are also excellent!

Get yourself a drag pack with a set of bias ply ET Streets in 11.5 x 16 and some bias ply front skinnies and you'll be well into the 10's. At your power level all you need is better traction and you'll reach your goal easily.
My car is N/A and I managed an 11.2 at 127 last time out at Pueblo back in April. (DA was just shy of 5800') I do have a drag pack and managed a 1.62 short time on that run on a relatively soft launch, (4500 rpm and slipping the clutch out of the hole).
I won't be hitting the track again here in Colorado until it cools off in the fall, no sense in beating on the car when the DA is 8000+feet.
Will probably hit Pueblo on their last open weekend in October, you should join us for some fun and games! Mods are in my signature.

Thanks for the info, Jimbo.. I do need a drag pack for it, as I was running my heavy 19" iForged on my 275's on the front.. Wheels alone weigh around 23 each.. Joining you all in Pueblo this fall sounds fun. Will have to keep me posted on the day(s) you head down there.
