Solid start to my 2011 season

......Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaand a prompt end!
I threw on some new 315/45-16 ET Street Radial II's I had laying around tonight and took em down the street before loading it up on the trailer to head to the track for some 1/8 mi action tonight and the 1/4 in the morning. I drove to the stop sign by my house, then jumped into it in first....and kaboom. I figured I blew the torque tube until I saw the puddle of gear oil as I started pushing it back home.
Pardon the crappy pictures -- I threw the car on jackstands, snapped some cell phone pics, a few friends came to check out the carnage, then I started pounding beers.
Big thanks to Rick Kim from RKT56.com so far for everything...he's kept me rolling so good so far. I'm hard on equipment and apparently my old 1 rib case could only take 145k and the ~75 passes I've put on it. I'm sure it'll be rolling again as soon as I can find the time and motivation to piece it back together

Yeah, oh well, it happens. Still had a good day out at Z-Max today, helped get a few people set up and did a little driver coaching.
Got my buddy Derrick's old turbo Volvo down to a 13.06 (so close to the 12's!) and got my buddy Jonathan's heads/cam only Trans-Am pretty well set up running an 11.44 best. I'm confident we'll run 10's heads/cam only with it before the year is over...
