I'd like a good Drag clutch with street manners
Good luck with that. Seems to be hit or miss for most.
My Monster Stage 3 is doing well by me. 92 passes of aggressive launches and several thousand street miles. By far one of the best bang for the buck.
Gary2004Z06 likes his RPS BC2 but it is a bit higher priced clutch.
I think CaptHuff just went with a Monster Stage 3 clutch and we know he's a racer and has your type of power.

We went from the stock LS7 to the RPS and never looked back. Street manners are incredible and it can hold hard launches time after time. We observed minimal wear after 131 passes and thousands of street miles upon inspection last season. This leads us to believe that several hundred passes can be made prior to a rebuild. The billet design is very strong and only needs replacing the carbon discs. There are other RPS products that will suit your needs. Just give Rob Smith a call at RPS (www.turboclutch.com) and I'm sure he can set you up with the right product. I know that there are numerous vendors who price these clutches at a discount. Remember that labor is part of the overall cost of a clutch even if you perform the work yourself.
Good luck.

That's why I'm pulling the Spec 3+ and putting in an RPS Twin Lite.
If you're looking for a clutch that can handle abuse both on/off track and are under 550rwhp our new level 2 is a carbon/organic full face 11" single disc. This means it has a very smooth engagement yet will still chirp the tires on the 3/4 shift at 100mph. It has no floater plate to warp or clatter and it has a very linear engagement. A premium kit with a new pilot bearing, slave cylinder and remote speed bleeder would run 884.93 shipped to you. Give me a call me if you have questions, Chris

Will, who sold you on a LS7 clutch setup on your car.... Cartek?
If I were to do it again, I would be doing it in this order if price were no worry. RPS twin, McCleod Twin, Monster Stage 3.
I'm still stuck with my spec twin, which has AWESOME street manners, can take a royal *** beating, it's just very aggressive on launches. Very minimal "play" to slip the clutch. It's also notorious for destroying stock rears.
