Yeah.. I run 245/40 in the front, so that is probably the issue. The two tracks I have been to have no way to drive around the water. RPR, if I remember correctly leaves a spot for cars to drive around the water and back into it for the burnout.
Yeah at RPR you can get around the water for the most part....just have to aim for the guy with the hose as you pull in....LOL
I may or may not be able to make it. I am working nights thurs night, then have to build a Hayabusa engine friday during the day.....If I make it, I will be there after 8 p for sure.... I'll track you down if I come out for sure...

Two things I have done that HAVE Completely Removed this Probelm.
1) Do Not Spin Your Tires in the Water Box This throws water up and drips back down
2) I use the narrowest front SUMMER tires that I could put on my 17 inch rims at 50 psi and I do not track water Also spun the tires almost down to the tread bars !
Give them a Try... Good Luck
I have kicked around buying GTO spares. Will those donut spares carry 130mph trap? Or, do I just by the wheels and replace with M&H or MT front 4.5's?
The other thing is that my car has no lope, very little compressor noise and to the average ear at the track may sound stock with cat-back. I kind of want to keep the stockish look. Right now the only dead give away is 11 inch wide ET streets out back, but we all know every ricky racer at the track has way to much tire for his ET..
If I can get these tires to hook, I fully expect 1.5x 60's. I will be very happy with a stock looking/sounding/driving car that will run high 10's and trap close to 130!
