When I ran 9.04@154 the stall would no longer lock up. If you keep locking your stall at WOT-it becomes a maintenance item. Something to consider in a C5 because changing them is no 2 hour deal.
Dan you need to talk to Jason at Coan-he built my last 2 stalls and is pretty sharp.
Chris@Circle D is pretty good too and very knowledgeable.
This thread is the first time I even thought about this topic with the Vette. With the truck it made perfect sense as it required way more gear/convertor to get that heavy brick out quick and that resulted in higher R's through the traps. I dont run anywhere near Arun or Chris so my car is well in the powerband through the traps at my level (low 11's / high 10's)

At first no luck seeing the TCC WOT table in my HPT 2.22 or 2.23 beta. Then I got a newer beta from HPT (mine was from 2009) and yours showed, but mine didn't. So HPT is going to add support for mine in a future beta. Interesting exercise!
