heck yeah!!!
I finally was able to get my 99 on the dyno at TPS Motorsports today. Mods list is:
Vararam
25% underdrive pulley
LS6 intake
MSD wires
B&B shorty headers
Magnaflow x-pipe
Flowmaster direct replacement mufflers
The engine was at 215 + degrees for each run, but this is what I got:
334 hp 340 tq
337 hp 343 tq
340 hp (339.84) 345 tq (The 359 tq spike didn't show on the screen at the time of the run, it only shows in the drf file.)
So much for shorty headers not being worth it and Flowmasters not flowing well
I'm impressed that the power doesn't drop off after 5K like I thought it would. It does go flat, but it doesn't fall off.
Will post videos to YouTube later today.

Nice, I'm thinking B&B Shorties may be the only ones to offer any significant gains over stock manifolds.

99 is the tiny cam year, so this makes sense. Headers are really only needed if you want to maximize the exhaust flow for a larger cam grind than stock.

I think B&B has longer tubes, better collectors and a merge spike than other Shorties , so it all adds up.

Very nice numbers, I'm curious how much that underdriven pulley gives you. 10hp?

I don't know, but it was definitely a difference you could feel.

Good numbers for a stock 99. Did I see the air/fuel ratio at 18? You know that is how I started with just a dyno run then a dyno tune then well...... lets just say its addicting.
BTW nice color too........

The a/f was not connected.

No, since it was pretty well established that they are in the 300-310 range I didn't spend the $$ to find out.

Time to call A&A. Or are blowers illegal in CA as well?
