is the question for built 4l60e trans with any engine built up or specific built engines. because if your asking for a built trans and stock engine you might be in the wrong section and go try general section to see if there is an answer.

On one of our local board there is a member on there saying that a corvette with a 4L60 cannot be very fast because they that cannot hold power.
I know there has to be guys running in the bottom 9's and cutting good 60's with them. I have personally been in the 1.30's but that was in an F-body.
Here is the thread, as you can see he does not think a 4L60e can 60' in the 1.30's...
BTW, this thread is a roll over from another thread that went way off topic because 1 person say the car is a 5 second ride (1/8th mile) and the brother is saying it was impossible to run in the 5's with a 4L60E...
1.23 in 60', 5.6 in the 1/8, and 8.8 in the 1/4 with 418 ci N/A C5 and 4L60 transmission. This transmission is currently at RPM and is for sale with new parts if you know anyone interested.
Original 4L60 that was delivered with the car in 98. Originally built and upgraded at the end of each season by Rossler. Trans was checked and upgraded last off season by RPM to their level 7 to go along with their diff. Have never had a failure. Best 60' 1.29, best 1/8 6.05, best 1/4 9.53.

The below pic was taken when the Trans was still completely Stock. As a matter of fact, he went 10.51 on it before the shafts were hardened and trans upgraded.
Yeh PIB has passed. But the guy was quoting Danny’s post about selling a built trans.
