Shocks

I have a 99 FRC, stock shocks(that i know of) i have the lead on a set of cheap 06 z51 shocks. would this be worth getting or would i even feel a diff? i really dont track the car much, i do like to take corners tho! however im at the drag strip every week!

I have switched to bilstien sport shocks on my 01 z , much less wheel hop if any, the skipping over high speed under even or damaged pavement turns is gone, and the ride over all is much improved at highway speeds. One of the best investments on the car for under 350 bucks.

I would look for "04" shocks ... I switched (with my 98) a few years ago to C6-Z06 shocks. Have NO experience with a 06 z51 shocks.

Do a search on 04 z06 shocks, bilstein sport or 06 z06 shocks, read some reviews and see what would work best for your needs, for me it was the bilstein sports as stated above.

cool, i was just thinking for 30 bucks(maybe racing for them) that it might be wroth it or might not. thanks guys

^^ the shocks mentioned above; most likely ... will not have much of an effect if you decide to race with them.

There are a lot of people cutting very good sixty foot times using stock suspension "stock" shocks or the 06-Z06 / bilstiens / etc..

I have C6 Z51 shocks and sways onmy '02, the most dramatic change I made to the car.....other than building the motor....inexpensive and easy to do...A big improvement over stock......you'll love it!
