Heading to MIR this weekend for test and tune, what will I run?
So I bought my 02 Z06 last summer and never got to take it to the track, everytime I was able to go it rained. And I was so ready to go last week but the test and tune was cancelled due to it being to cold. This weekend is suppose to be 50 degrees and sunny.
My question is what time am I realistically looking to get? I have raced my 99 Z28 a couple of times and have gotten a 13.1 quickest time so I have some experience. The car is a 2002 Z06 with a SLP Black wing, a Magnaflow exahust thats leaking from the muffler, and some winter tires. Im hoping for high 11s but I know that prob wont happen.

And noo I am actually in Virginia, and heading to Maryland International Raceway this weekend, not sure if there is a MIR in Memphis, didnt mean to comfuse anyone !

I was there today and saw all his runs and slips. Solid running car and some good weather today. I am positive you could hit 11s if you had ran that in the morning. His 60' was awesome, something like 1.8xxx and his 1/8 mile was solid too 7.8 @ 93 or 94mph. I can vouch that all he has is a blackwing,magnaflow, and a short throw, and some unknown (to me) tires but definitely NOT DRs. In comparison I ran my 03 Z06 (100% bone stock) 12.3 @ 114.7. I think he was trapping consistent 116-117 and low 12 et all day long.

Nice meeting you as well thanks for the tips on the tire pressure if it wasnt for that I wouldnt have been able to get such a good time! I think my brother got video of of your run, If he did ill send them to you!
I had a blast today. I did a total of 6 passes and each pass kept getting better and better. Started off with a 12.9@117(launched it too hard and spun bad), 12.8@109(missed 4th), 12.4@115, 12.2@116, 12.1@115 and finally 12.0@117
These cars deliver amazing performance for what they are, and it was great to see another corvette guy at a track. Slips and video are below, enjoy! I have video and slips for the other runs as well.

Your best time was on a slower sixty foot. That would have been an 11 second pass !!
