Lowering your c5 more than about .5 inch won't help if your suspension is worn and you end up bouncing off your bumpstops mid-corner. I've got a decent suspension and still don't run any lower because I like the articulation to be found with extra shock travel. I don't know how much money you have to spend but here's the first few thousand I'd spend: Good shock (not great) make big difference...04 c5z shocks, DRM bilsteins, or Koni 3013's are common before guys start spending real money. Paul at Van Steel has a front bar that works really good and spherical heim endlinks. Stick 18x10.5's on all 4 corners with the tire that fits your class. Cornerweighting is a huge difference once you get your suspension parts installed. Good seat...sparco evo2 or something is a good start...shifter with an good shift **** helps. Let us know if you're beyond that level already.
