Good numbers! Mill the heads down a bit more to get your compression up to 11.5 to 1 and you'll see over 500rwhp for sure.....these motors N/A love compression! Nice flat torque curve you got there too!

ZZOOM06.. Nice list of mods in your setup as well. My motor has about 40k on it ,so ill just run it like she is now , when it comes time to rebuild, then ill raise the compression and go with a bigger cam,Maybe a different set of headers and get about 550 ...560 ,, this is the most power ive ever had...

NA power is just awesome. Like I have stated before.. Turbo and supercharged car are good but nothing like a NA car with same HP.

Yep the motor let go after about 3k of driving. So i had to have the 408 rebuilt,I went with Ed Hutching @ Hi Tech Tuning. We ended up with a Lq9 403 , 11.2.1 compression, 227/239--613/623 cam, Both more than i had before .she put down 462/484 On the Dyno, Ed says she was either spinning or clutch slipping ,So motor should have more in it when it goes back to a dyno and not spinning, i have a spec3+ clutch so i dont think it was slipping, ive got 125 miles on new motor and shes running very strong and drives Awsome. Heres the dyno sheet,

Input welcome !!

Thanks Friend , yea im going from 3in pipes and x pipe to the 2 1/2 ti cat back. so with the cutouts closed you can see the bottle neck, when they open up they sound good and gave a pretty good gain,i hope you get the same.

Ordered my DMH's today from MTI... Great guys to deal with. these things are nearly impossible to come by since John builds each set by hand... Typical 4-10 week wait... I am one of the lucky ones... I won't have to wait near that long....
