More track times...IDK...
So this makes my third trip to the track since i have owned the vette. The first two times i went to the 1/4 mile track. This time i went to 1/8 mile cause they are the only ones running this late in the year.
I have improved on my times, but still cant run what i would think is better than a stock c5Z06. I have bolt-ons and tune. I also had a line lock last night that I used for the first time. With improved burnouts, I didnt feel any spinning at all leaving the line. But my 60's arent any better than folks on street tires. What gives???
My mods and dyno numbers
My previous track runs
All runs were on MT ET Street II with 20 psi. DA was -200ft.
My time slips:
First Pass I launched at 2000 rpms
2nd pass at 3000 rpms
3rd pass at 3500 rpms and felt like i lost the clutch on 1-2 shift. I had no power in 2nd gear, but shifted to 3rd and it grabbed again. No issues on the drive home. Not sure what happened.
Future mods wont help much if Im a crappy driver

Sounds like your third pass your clutch got really hot and was slipping and it might be slipping while launching it too. I would definitely change the fluid at the very least.
