Is it the offset that makes them stick out that far?

Won't happen anymore on those rims.... I stripped the paint on them to see if therre was any hidden damage before I seriously tested them on the strip... Turns out they are compromised, meaning rust on both sides of the rim, in and out. I can push it with my finger and it would bend. I'm surprised it didn't blow while driving on them. But I have a new set of rims coming in, sadly not 15x10 though, they are 18x10.5 fitted with NTO5R drag radials. I'll have another inch and way better tires touching the ground. I'll keep this thread updated once I am able to test the tires times. I will be getting a set on 15x10s once I get the drag spindles to tuck them under the fenders better.

Good job on getting good times out of that car with those 2.73 gears, I raced an LS1 Camaro fitted with 2.73 gears once at the track and the guy ran a 14 second flat down the quarter mile.


I think a gear upgrade, stall, and drag radials should get you into the low 11s and high 10s.

The stall is already in, drag radials will be on a 18x10.5 tire and the gears will come later when I get the money
