Well, I was lucky enough to get entry again this year! Took the Whippletized F150 this year (2025), but taking the Vette in 2026! Stoked. Just gotta install my cage wghich I have! Thanks RPM roll bars! Hopefully there will be more C5's than just mine! I know one guy with a C6 who made it. Can't wait, drag racing down south for a week when it is 30's and crappy up here is AWESOME! Event sold out in less than a minute-

It's the kind of thing I'd like to do along with you but my life and my cars are not in order. I need to find some balance first. We'll definitely be following along. And if you are one who posts videos and updates be sure to connect us to your YT, IG, FB, etc.

 

Yup I got the RPM rollbar delivered 2 weeks ago but Rob owes me some parts as his parts guy sent me some of the wrong sandwich plates and such. Waiting for those so I can get that install going. I added a trailer hitch but I am gonna carry a rack not pull a trailer. I hate pulling trailers! All I need to carry in the rack is the 2 drag radials, my floor jack and a couple jack stands. That stuff totals 175 lbs and the tongue is rated to 250 lbs, so should be good there. Tools will go inside along with my electric skateboard (pit vehicle) and I told my girlfriend, she lives out of a back pack for that week! I will bring very limited spares, mostly spare belts, a set of plugs, a tire plug kit, some spare wheel studs and lugs (and the install tool), torque wrench, 2 air pumps and a jump pack.

I took a buttload of stuff this year when I went with the truck, I had way more than I ever needed. So my credit card will be my ultimate spare! I gotta call Rob today and see what's up, as I need those parts and it has been 10 days.

I only will post on FB as they use FB to help coord the event, so I can post Dragy video's and stuff on my FB page like I did this year. I generally don't do much social media. Maybe I'll post to this thread with my pics and stuff at night. Looking forward to it, I had a great time this year and while the F150 is awesome, I kept thinking about having the C5 there and that is what pushed me to do the mods this summer to the car to get it down to a 10 second runner, assuming I do my part!

Not my car in the pic! Tires in the middle of the rack and the rear lights don't get blocked. Works pretty good. Will be easy to move the tires in the hotel room at night.
