I just got back from the dyno. The car in question is a 2001 Z06 stock with no mods or tuning. I had to drive 2 1/2 hrs away to the dyno with no cool down and made 2 back to back runs. I don't know to much about dyno's but it was a SuperFlow WinDyn I made (STP CORRECTED) 359.9 rwhp on my first run and 356.4 rwhp on the second. I don't have any torque numbers because the man running the dyno forgot to plug it in. I had him convert this to dynojet numbers just for fun and the number came out to be 378.1 rwhp.
Postive. The only mod done to the car is the coolant bypass. Stock air box and filter. I thought that was sort of high compared to others I've seen. The way Jim at SR Racing was reacting I knew it was a good run. I didn't expect anything in that ballpark. I know most people will call BS but, I very happy it was my first trip to dyno. Let the mod's begin.
I think most stock 01 Zs dyno around 330-340 RWHP on a dyno jet. Either you have one very strong 01 Z, or that particular dyno gives abnormally high dyno readings.

We've had several members from our local club dyno at the same speed shop. A few members have been to other dynos and they all said their numbers were down. I know that weather plays a role along with other things. The only numbers that I'm going with are the SuperFlow WinDyn STP corrected wheel power of 359.9 and not the 378.1 on the dynojet conversion.

I think the 359 is high too for an 01. The 02/03's stock dyno around 355+/- I believe. The 01's had 15 less HP as well. Something doesn't seem right. As mentioned above, run it at the track & see how it does...
Sure can, the dynojet number would net you-using the 12% loss on a manual tranny, are you sitting down?.. 429.6 Horsepower. Even the average of the others at the 'regular' 15% loss would be 421.35 HP!!
