Default Fastest Bolt-on FRC?

Bolt-ons that I am referring to are nothing inside the engine...so no heads and no cams.

How fast has anyone gone with intake/headers/tuning etc. Thanks.

Friend had a '99 FRC with twin filter intake, Eckler's modified MAF, and Borla cat-back race system and with nothing else tampered with he ran 12.68@113.9 mph in a mild day on stock tires. He ran 12.37 @ 114 mph with 315 BFG DRs on ZR1 rims in a cool night and 1.76 sec. 60'. That car had to be a ringer.

Max (s/n: 'Wide Open Throttle') from NJ ran an 11.90@115 or 116 in his bolt on only FRC.

Paul (now a twin turbo Z06) I think holds the C5 bolt on record at 11.38 but that is (was) a Z06.

Paul (now a twin turbo Z06) I think holds the C5 bolt on record at 11.3 but that is (was) a Z06 (still an FRC though ).

It's really just a question of what you consider a bolt-on.. Is a blower considered a bolt-on ??

Yeah I know.

When you break it down...everything is a bolton...just a question of how many bolts...

I am referring to the usual...cold air, pulleys, drag radials, exhaust...etc.

No power adders or internal mods.

Well, 'bolt on only' is a pretty clear cut definition and consists of almost anything that incorporates stock internals (factory stock block, heads and cam) and naturally aspirated only. I would think that stock style suspension and mounting points etc are also included.
