I did not want to get this close to a buffalo, but I was driving my vette convertible through Yellowstone in 2019, and was stopped in a traffic jam.
The buffalo wandered down the road, right next to all the cars in line.
I grabbed my camera and snapped a quick pic. I was prepared to tell my wife to get out, so I could also get out on the passenger side.
We stayed in the car, didn't move a muscle, and prayed that the buffalo was "just passing thru".

This red-tailed hawk was sitting in a tree across the street. Photos shot looking out my bedroom window in New England.

They look tame but this is a tactic to sneak up on people.

A number of years ago this big boy was about 20 yards from our patio door. He came back at dusk maybe three times. First week in Jan. I think he was looking for does that weren't breed in Nov.
The other pic is a buck laughing at me a week before rifle season.
