I was out at Red Rock Canyon a couple weeks ago for a 5k. Had my phone with me and wanted to get a pic of the sunset. I tried to get a pic just before the sun set behind the mountain but missed it. Instead I got this pic. I didn't intend to get this, but I thought the effect was kind of neat. Don't know how or why it looks like this, but this was literally minutes after the sun went behind that peak.
I was filling gas in my 24 torch red SR. A lady pulled in beside me and asked if she could take a pic of her kids standing by my car. I told her, “set them in the drivers seat and take the pic.” She and the kids were ecstatic.
I thought this was a neat effect
