It is a wonderful gesture, but couldn't he sell it for $12K and donate that instead of raffling it off for $7500?

:iagree: Seems like he is willing to let the car go for a lot less than he could get for it by selling it outright (depending on its condition). He could donate a lot more money to those causes that way.

I would only pay 7500.00 for it knowing I would have to immediately pay 5000.00 to have it repainted. Shakey |

That looks like the same car I signed at the 2014 Funfest. He was having all the veterans sign the hood.
