OK I received my plug wires and the question why in the heck is one of them long at the plug end. What did I miss? Thanks:cheers:

# 8 (passenger side closest to firewall) has a straight boot if I remember correctly.

You need to be careful with the routing and seeing that you have an '85 the FSM will still have 'cross-fire' routing shown in the images. there's several threads regarding correct routing.
Joe C it seems to me did some snapshots of the TPI routing requirements. Here's an appropriate thread with L98 comments. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...e-routing.html |
Goes next to dipstick. Cross 5&7 and you will be just fine

2nd to last on the passenger side

Thx I will be fixing that tomorrow but here is the link to Rock Auto for the plug wires.
They are 9.73 on closeout but I received BWD nascar performance wires 8mm. It may be a crap shoot what you receive(14 left) but they are performing nicely so far. BWD/NIEHOFF CH869 Premium Wire Set - Select, pretty good deal if you get the good ones I guess. http://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/c...+wire+set,7224 Good luck |
