EnglandGreen Cam Package - everything including the Kitchen Sink!!!! *with new cams*
When I picked up my car Stephen asked me to take notes on any drivability issues and to let him know. I went back the shop today with about 3 or 4 things I thought could be improved on. Stephen spent the next 3+ hours riding around town with me while I drove and he data logged. He tweaked the tune and WOW!
The Whiplash is a good sized cam and with the tune the car has low RPM manners of near stock. It has a sick lope at idle and sounds crazy when you stand in it. You have to be pointed straight when you nail it, because it roasts the tires well into third. I can’t wait to get some times on it. EG doesn’t have their dyno bolted down yet, so no number to share, but I should have some figures very soon.
We promised you near stock driveability with our mid 240s duration cam, and we delivered. And it screams like a banshee

. Thanks guys.

sounds wicked
He took it over to Joe Donavan's earlier today for the dyno-tune and what Anthony told me was the RWHP was at 408 with RWTQ at 363 but,I was told his numbers run a little low as well.
I'm picking up the car tomorrow and after hearing it I can't wait to drive it.I'll see if I can get a hold of a video camera to post some
footage.
The Whiplash delivers,big time

Thanks again,my friend

footage of the car on the dyno and at his house.
Max Power = 408.42 Max Torque=363.20
I think Joe was suprised by the numbers being on the low-side considering the mods,I believe he thought it would be in the 430's
for power.Nonetheless the cam sounds incredible and I am pleased
with the way it accelerates, that cam revs quick
I kinda felt bad driving through my neighborhood tonight when I
got off work tonight,it's like night and day compared with the baby
cam I had previously,that ****** is loud

Stephen,I wanted to thank you again for an awesome product and guidance in getting the right parts for this install.I'm gonna try to give
you a ring on Saturday if your available

Ok,on to the videos,enjoy

to quote Stephen this car pulls like a freight train.
Really want to thank Jason And Stephen for being patient with my car. The PCM was locked & scrambled and coudn't be over ridden by the techII. Jason pulled the PCM and i took it to ICON to have it set back to stock.

EG- I'm thinking of running this cam with a forged 347/F1C 3:73 gears/Yank SS 3600 stall (18# boost). I know I'll have traction issues big time, so maybe a Whiplash on a 112LSA is in order so soften the low end just a little...?

To give you some comparison - UWILLUZ installed our original Godzilla cam (in the mid 240s, 114LSA on XE-R lobes) on a 383ci with a F1R and made 860rwhp with it. Dascorcha with a Whiplash cam and P1SC made 650rwhp on his stock bottom end in an automatic! Also on a 114LSA.
We are no longer using XE-R lobes and have not been for about a year now. Our new Mayhem II, Whiplash II and Chaos II cams are responding even better to boost than the originals - all of them on a 113 LSA. I would suggest that you do not go any tighter than a 113LSA.
Your rear gears will be your biggest traction issue. On my personal '01 Coupe, I went from a Yank SS3600/3.90 gears with our Godzilla cam to Yank SS3200/3.15 gears with our Insanity cam (on a 402ci) and still have severe traction issues.

By the way, what lobes are you now using? you can PM me if you'd like. Also, what changes besides the Type of lobes and LSA have been changed from the original Whiplash to the Whiplash II?
I just want to do my research before pulling the trigger.
Thanks!

I'm still without power at my home.
