Default Tail-light wiring harness

The weather pack on the passenger side has gotten into my muffler and partially melted. There are 7 wires coming in, and 6 wires coming out. As best I can tell, the red wire 'H' on the inboard side does not have a corresponding wire on the outboard side. Is this correct? Everything else i can just splice straight together?

You need to explain better. The Passenger side rear lamps should not have a red wire. (I don't think!!)

No, not an export model. This is the wire harness in the passenger rear wheel well. Comes from transmission and ABS sensor into a plug, then plug runs to tail-lights. There is one more wire coming "IN" than going "OUT". This wire is red and in the "H" slot of the connector.
