Please post your thoughts on this product after install. Sounds almost too good to be true since you aren't actually attaching it to the panels. Thanks.
OK here's my observation: First I downloaded a db app to take before and after db readings. I chose a section of freeway and speed to do a before and after test. 75MPH with the phone above the shifter; the before reading was 73-74db. The after reading is 72-73 db. HOWEVER, I have to say that the interior is definitely quieter from the rear of the cabin. I actually turned down my radio a little from the normal setting and I can hear more wind noise than before. So did it make a difference; yes I feel it did, even though I couldn't quantify it with a db reading.
Would I purchase again? At this point yes, but I've only put about 10 miles on the car after install. I'm anxious to "hear" how it sounds when I go over a section of freeway that normally drowns out the radio.
Maybe I should read behind the seats before and after for a more accurate test?????

The biggest problem is that cell phones have internal filters.
Take an IPhone , they have a built in high pass filter with a roll-off of around 24 db/octave below 250 hz, this means that the measurements taken by the iPhone will be highly inaccurate at these low frequencies, and will not be incorporated well into overall levels.
The overall sound level is dominated by frequencies that your cell phone will not be picking up.
This is why you /your ears (which is more important) heard a big difference with the Blockit system in place.
However. You will notice an even bigger difference once you hit a road that normally makes the tires roar, interior loud...etc.

The new run of the Blockit Quick & Quiet mats for the Stingray & Z06 coupe's PLUS
the new Stingray & Z06 [U]Convertible's[/U ]are done. We are looking to start getting these orders out today.
I'd love to make the car a bit quieter but I'm still skeptical on dropping that much money for an experiment. If I'm not satisfied, can I return them for a full refund?

After you cut the sheets to fit, remove the backing and apply them, you want to remove them and send back for a refund if not satisfied?
You got to be kidding!!!

I'm talking about the block it stuff that simply lays on top. You should probably practice your reading comprehension skills before you try to shame someone.
Well, I had a chance to test drive my car on some roads that previously had some serious tire noise due to the road conditions. For the ease of installation and simpleness of the product; I'm very pleased with the it. I was able to lower my radio volume from where it used to be, and hold conversations without raising my voice. In fact I am now aware of other noises that I hadn't previously heard.
So bottom line: I'd recommend(your hearing my vary) .
I can't say it's equal to the kits that require full interior dis-assembly since I didn't do that, but I definitely feel there is value in the product. If you are in Southern Calif and want to try in your car, come by and we'll throw it in and you can hear for yourself. Or just take my car for a test drive.

Awesome
Thank you for your business & for taking the time to post your positive results.
I ordered two sets of the three piece kit-- one for me and one for my dad. We both agree that there is absolutely a noticeable difference after the mats were installed. The car is noticeably quieter at highway speeds. We're both happy with them!
