Made custom spreader bar brackets out of T56 aluminum on buddy's Northport Machine
Also made Radiator Cover out of Stainless
That's a great idea that I may have to "borrow" I made my radiator cover out of T56 aluminum, not that I needed the strength but it was all I could find in the size that I needed.
Just so happens I have a NIB grille left over from a truck project on sale under cost on ebay right now.
I'll drop the price to $100 for any CF member + shipping.
Check it out along with the link to the specs.

Dennis
Thanx for the offer Dennis but i seen some other grilles that would suit my needs better.
Hey Ross.
Txs for the reply.
Good luck with your project.
I went a different route with mine. I am changing the front bumper to a 74 without the bumperettes that the 75 has. Then I found the 3 original metal grilles to go with it. I am eliminating the license plate on the front. And I am adding the FIAA style fixed headlights.

I needed a License plate light assembly. did not have one and due to a newer wiring harness, the original assemble would not plug in.
I had a broken rear side side marker light, removed the stainless bezel,
removed the broken red plastic outer lens, installed clear plastic lens,
sealed and reinstalled the stainless trim, the newer rubber bulb socket mates perfectly to the housing, install LED. and installed it fits perfect.
sorry bad picture .

NICE...reminded me of my low cost license plate light-
I had a couple of options- as I had also changed the rear harness quite a bit-
Some left over LED strip light and some aluminum square tube I had laying around.
Just notched the tube and drilled a couple holes for mounting holes- and ran the LED strip the length.
Options- LED in the OEM bracket- didn't like the light output
That really is a 10 gallon pot lid. It's 14" from inside rim diameter
This is how I cut it for what I wanted to do
Sandwiched between fiberglass on both top and bottom
Good job. I bought mine from paragon so it was by no means inexpensive. If I ever get a six pack setup, I may steal you idea. Thanks
RR, thanks. I didn't have the money to buy that air box, and I've done composite repairs on Air Force jets for years. So, I just got busy. I didn't get it done when I first started it, I was rushing to get it back together to go to a car show. The very first one we took it too. We stood and heard 3rd and 2nd places called for our class, and turned to walk away. Then, hey wait a minute, that's our entry number. Holy shamoly, we won 1st place? There were some very nice cars in the 2 seat American sports car class too.
Any way, it was fairly easy, just do more research than I did. It'll take less time than it took me to do this one.
