Guys, want to hear your opinion on what I should do. Im in the middle of restoring my 94 completely, some of you already know and have seem my project thread 94 build conversion in progress on here, if not check it out!

Im thinking about ditching the FX3 for the Van Steel single or double adjustable coilover kit. I already rebuilt my front actuators and still need to do the fronts, i think the fronts are working but not sure till i take em apart.
What are your thoughts on a properly working FX3 system with substantial HP, Ie 500BHP? Does it keep up with demand and traction? Basically I plan to go with the FX3 system and upgrade from the NYR spring to the Z51 or Van Steel Stage 2 Spring kit. Let me hear your thoughts on what I should do and your experiences.

I ditched my FX3 long ago. They only change damping based on speed so when you want the benefits of full stiff in corners you need to be doing 150+ mph. In slow corners there was very little benefit. You can get a custom controller from Lingenfelter I believe that will allow you to program the modes on the **** different, but I remember it being expensive. I sold all my actuators and the controller and just put Bilstein sports on. For awhile I just zip tied the gear at the top of the shocks in the full stiff position. Then the shocks wore out and I just replaced them.

i heard the system cant react fast enough to rapid changes in speed - like in a road race.

ideally i wanted a 'drag race mode ' as tour and a corner carving mode as performance

parts and expertise are drying up on this system.

it wasnt worth it for me to go thru effort and expense to add iy when everyone else was removing it
