Default EFI install, a short update,,,

I have completed the FiTech install in my 75, I went slowly, and took likely too much time, but didn't have any big issues that way, in a earlier post I showed my in tank setup, all went well, the wireing was stright forward, I did use a circuit braker and relay to power the fuel pump to insure full voltage to the pump, I wanted to retain the air filter that was on the eng, so with just a small amount of modification it works and hood clears fine, started up as it should have on the 2nd try, ,, so,, now, with some miles and a few "pro-tuneing" tweeks to the controler, I hope to enjoy easy cold starts, and care free driving for long hauls, ,, , i took advice of many of you and kept fuel lines away from fan belts to avoid any "fire" issues, thanks to all who coment ed and added their thoughts, you gave me the confidence to do it, , , I recommend this up grade everyone!!!

Nice looking install. I notice you have your fuel pressure regulator connected to vacuum. I think FiTech started recommending this shortly after I installed mine. They told me to leave it disconnect but I read that now they suggest hooking it to manifold vacuum. Can you confirm this?

I will look tomorow, I did not change what FiTech had done, but I will look closely at its arrangement, and get back to you,

Found this today

Could you please let me know where it connects on your setup? FiTech tech is slow to respond most of the time. Thanks

Thats perfect thanks. I'll be connecting mine just like yours. I purchased it middle of last year but didn't install it till Oct. Back then it shipped disconnected and without any connection instructions. Thanks again for taking the time to add the picture.

Thanks for posting this 60. I installed mine this past fall/winter and it came with the FPR vac port open and no instructions. After seeing this post yesterday, I did a little reading and it seems they are now recommending that it be connected to manifold vac. I connected mine to the same port your picture shows above. I am going to give it a drive today and see if it makes any difference.
