Hammy's Grand Sport Bar & Grill

That's a bit of damage on the ole F150. People who are against deer hunting have no idea how bad they are in places. They are in the move around here too, got to keep alert in the evenings.
Wish you were closer Ruxxy, I'd use my Tech II on your car and find out what's going on. Hope you figure it out soon.
Well, I got things to do in the shop. Better get to them.

You know they sell those little hand held dohickys that plug into the car and you can read your own codes and reset them........ just thought you should know.......
Atta boy and girl to out Vets........ could not do what we do without your service...... free shot of Pappy's to all who have served today in the GS Star Bar........ also a free lunch and on the big screen a replay of Ruxy's.....tolerance talk, followed by the Huskers against the Golden Gophers for the bottom of the Big Ten West ......... hmmmm...... ok 2 free shots of Paps and a six of cold PBR........ just to ease the pain a bit.........best viewed if you have a buzz on......
Much happiness to all on this cold grey November day...........

What is a Veteran?
Some veterans bear visible signs of their service: a missing limb, a jagged scar, a certain look in the eye.
Others may carry the evidence inside them: a pin holding a bone together, a piece of shrapnel in the leg - or perhaps another sort of inner steel: the soul's ally forged in the refinery of adversity.
Except in parades, however, the men and women who have kept America safe wear no badge or emblem.
You can't tell a vet just by looking.
He is the cop on the beat who spent six months in Saudi Arabia sweating two gallons a day making sure the armored personnel carriers didn't run out of fuel.
He is the barroom loudmouth, dumber than five wooden planks, whose overgrown frat-boy behavior is outweighed a hundred times in the cosmic scales by four hours of exquisite bravery near the 38th parallel.
They are the nurse who fought against futility and went to sleep sobbing every night for two solid years in Da Nang.
He is the POW who went away one person and came back another - or didn't come back AT ALL.
He is the Quantico drill instructor who has never seen combat - but has saved countless lives by turning slouchy, no-account rednecks and gang members into Marines, and teaching them to watch each other's backs.
He is the parade - riding Legionnaire who pins on his ribbons and medals with a prosthetic hand.
He is the career quartermaster who watches the ribbons and medals pass him by.
He is the three anonymous heroes in The Tomb Of The Unknowns, whose presence at the Arlington National Cemetery must forever preserve the memory of all the anonymous heroes whose valor dies unrecognized with them on the battlefield or in the ocean's sunless deep.
He is the old guy bagging groceries at the supermarket - palsied now and aggravatingly slow - who helped liberate a **** death camp and who wishes all day long that his wife were still alive to hold him when the nightmares come.
He is an ordinary and yet an extraordinary human being - a person who offered some of his life's most vital years in the service of his country, and who sacrificed his ambitions so others would not have to sacrifice theirs.
He is a soldier and a savior and a sword against the darkness, and he is nothing more than the finest, greatest testimony on behalf of the finest, greatest nation ever known.
So remember, each time you see someone who has served our country, just lean over and say Thank You. That's all most people need, and in most cases it will mean more than any medals they could have been awarded or were awarded.
Two little words that mean a lot, "THANK YOU".
"It is the soldier, not the reporter, Who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, Who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, Who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, Who salutes the flag, Who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protestor to burn the flag."
Father Denis Edward O'Brien/USMC

And most of us who served are quiet about what we did, yet more proud of our other family members who served or are currently serving.
"When you sign the bottom line on your enlistment papers, you are signing a check. The amount is up to and including your life so that others may live in peace and freedom!"
I am very proud of him and my Marine daughter!

Beat the Utes 33-25.
It would seem the Cornhuskers need more than a new AD. The Golden Gophers had their way with them 54-21. I'm sure the game was closer than the score...

maybe the Huskers are trying to be the first 4 win team that gets invited to a bowl game................
just hope it isn't the Cereal Bowl............

you know, filled with Corn Flakes............
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

What can I say that has not already been said about the Huskers Football team........somehow they have forgotten how to play football...... they forgot how to tackle and block.....this is Division 1 sports these guys would have a hard time getting on a High School team in this State........
One sports writer is calling them the Jedi Blackshirts.....they try and stop the other team with their minds........ ahahahahaha....... I love that one......yesterday was a debacle and an embarrassment but at least we have a week to get ready for Ped State........If the Golden Gophers can run up 54 points on us imagine what Penn will do...... we will not be going Bowling this year.
Ok....Rant over....... hey how about them Cougs? Very nice!
Not doing much today.....worked yesterday so am taking the day off......... Free nothing in the GS Star Bar today....... I'm grumpy........

sure hope that he ends up with a BASE car................
seems like a nice and polite person who appreciates all the input and answers to his question related to a purchase...............

better than my "buddy" from the lug nut size post............

Bad deal made with Arlington years ago.

City had banners everywhere that Mansfield was the 14th best city to live in last year.....Not from where I sit.

Hoxxy & 427man:
I pulled the neg cable for about 10 minutes, hooked it up, fired it up and only the ABS light came on. I took it for a drive (temp was 190 at speed, 210 slow). I shut it off, fired it up and the CEL and ABS lights (no TC light) were both on. I let it idle and the temp climbed from 210 to 230 quickly so I drove it around a bit and shut it off at 210. I fired it back up and the CEL and ABS lights are on again. I cannot hear the fan run...I am a little deaf but I don't think it's coming on.
I pulled the neg cable off again and will let it sit for a bit.

Into each life some rain must fall....Cougs been there, done that. At least you (H1) knows more about them than before the season.
Came across this guy, never heard of him before. Guess he liked his time at the Huskers, says he gave them a couple million for the program after he went into the NFL...just a little trivia...
Quite a tough player I guess....RJK should remember him too, never dull while he was in Detroit either.....
Ndamukong Suh (just a note, he played his high school ball in the Great PNW....Portland to be exact....must be the clean air out here...

How he picked Nebraska???
Anyway thanks for your upbeat attitude here, albeit sometimes misplaced as far as us Baser's are concerned...Hope you are enjoying your Manager duties, a future retirement in a couple years...
if that's were you end up...
That Crazy 1st Pirate better run some time off the clock if he has a 2 score lead with 3-4 minutes to go, next game....

Got a bye this week, they control their destine after that...
Go Cougs...
Quite a guy....
