These are the Detroit goons that busted up my place looking for a lead to pimp!
Don't know who they are but they looked like they meant business...
Don't worry, I didn't give him up...
Not sure...but I think they were wearing a disguise...
haha, made my day FVS!
I wouldn’t mess with them, good thing you ain’t no snitch
I was about to get a group of fighter pilots to track you down if you went missing! Glad you are alright, but let’s get back to the topic that is more important then your security and safety...
The look will work for sure but wish they could do something with that rear fender. Put a little curve into it almost looks out of place with the front fender & vette in the past. Robert

I have no doubt it will, hell even the C7 still looks flat in the rear in pictures but anyone who's seen one in person knows that's not accurate at all
Where is my targa top gonna go?? Do I really need to leave it in the garage?
no, it will likely work like this. remember the pictures of the mules with the upright rear windows? why else would they have an upright window and buttresses? i would be surprised if a removable top is available on the coupe.
Great work here on the forum to give us all ideas of what it will look like. Still think there is something missing up front and with the headlights. If GM really wanted to make this car stand out that's where it would be, instead of looking like a Ferrari or Mclaren.....which is not a bad thing but lets make it unique. One thing for sure I am confident in ,Tadge and the others in charge working on this car will make something everyone will be talking about! it will surely have the wow factor
Good rendering from the skill it takes to create it? Absolutely.
Accurate? Possibly.
Attractive original car if render is correct? God no! It's hideous. A '72 Pantera looks more modern.
All I can say is, let's hope not.
I think Batman himself would be embarrassed to drive that render. He'd be like "Nah, that's a little over the top for my taste..."
My opinion is 'not even close' when you get down to the fine details of the car that really define it. Maybe only a couple of inches here and there, but enough that the entire car looks a lot different.
The car actually looked better with the Camo on it!

WRT the topic of removable roofs, it looks to me like a removable targa top a la C5, C6 & C7.
It could be an automatic roof like a Ferrari 458, but I don't see a secondary panel line that would indicate to me that the targa is split into two sections.

I think this would be the spyder version. If you look at the top of the B-pillar the roof sits on top of it. If it were just a targa, I would imagine the roof panel would lay flat before the B-pillar rather than sit on top of it as it does in this pic.

Very polite post. From what I've seen, the car looks awful. The Cd has the lowest Cg of any Vette but it doesn't have the traditional design heritage. Very striking car though. It will take a very special designer to marry tradition and function but will it beat this car around the Ring.
