I'm in Ohio. A very small dealership, Larkin Cobb. My initial deposit and 1100 was 11/09/20. Got bumped from 21. Placed a new 22 order at the end of July. I randomly checked the concierge yesterday and I went to 3000 on 8/24. I was completely shocked! Checked again today because I thought it was a mistake. I was never even told I went to 2000.

Glad to see you are following our 'thread' here; but I'm thinking you are in the "August" Allocation period? Right? Based on the dates for your Status Code 2000 or 3000. Also, your TPW of 10/4 goes along with that.

Anyway, this is the "July Allocation tracking" thread.

I think & hope that someone starts (maybe they already have) a 'thread' that captures the August allocations group. Enjoy the journey; it's getting exciting for sure.

I emailed Shane today, he confirmed my order status 3300 and that TPW is holding at 9/6.

Looks like we have the majority of us here at 3300; probably the others too but they just haven't checked up on their status codes lately, which is fine.

Also, most have reportedly lately that their TPW dates are holding as originally reported which is good. In an email with Shane today, he left OFF the word 'tentative' in reconfirming my TPW. Hope that was on purpose. He did add: "However, with it being a new model year, GM tends to hold on to the first few batches of cars for an extended QC". So this may be something to watch out for since we are in the 'first' batch of '22MY coming out of production.

Still holding at 9/13 with my build. I wonder if lori and Shane know that we are looking into their email wording trying to find any sign of news haha

Thanks for the warning. Being hit with an extended QC hold will be not fun.

I feel that as for the assembly line, there's really nothing different between model years unless you ordered a new introduced option specific to 22MY, right? Do you think GM will place on extended QC hold an entire batch regardless of? I liked to think GM will not place an extended hold on orders that are same/identical builds as prior year model.

I'm thinking if this is true we may want to stay in the 9-13 TPW. This way they can keep the guys cars with the 9-6 TPW for extended quality control crap. LOL!!

Well that obviously begs the question, what is a "batch"? X number or X days worth? The only substantive change I am aware of is the fuel injection system with the motor - different parts. Should be identical process to make.

All I know is when my car gets produced I don't want it sitting in some lot in the hot sun for a month.
My C7 was built on a Friday and it was on my dealers lot the following Monday morning. That's THREE days from produced to my dealers lot. That's what I'm hoping for and probably dreaming LOL!

Very funny hahaha - j/k😢

I feel an extended QC crap will be more of an excuse for photoshoot /marketing stuff type celebratory milestone than a quality control check. Good for them, sucks for anyone affected!

I think their 'comment' was just made in the abundance of caution; I agree not much is being changed & I'm betting it won't be many cars and not for very long. We will just have to wait and see.

I'm thinking, maybe even betting, that several folks on the SS will go 3400 this coming week; some will probably even get a call or email from Shane at the NCM to confirm 3800 specific date and, for those doing a NCM delivery, be asked to pick a date for pick up (that's out 2 weeks or so from the production date). Look for something like that to happen later this week, as they get out in front of the Labor Day holiday on 9/6.

Okay peps, start calling Chevy, my order just moved to 3400 with TPW of 9/6.

It's starting to become very real for next week.
