Do you have more info or pics?
Here's what I did. I mean to print one with a "Jake" logo. Perhaps when I 3D print new center caps for my wheels. PM me and I can send you an STL file.

Here's a link with what @Richard454 did, including a link to the part, and some other ideas.

L88 hood and L88 flares.
Not a picture of my car, but this to me is a work of art.

Me, I put on what someone else calls a "Tacky pace car spoiler". Yet I don't find it tacky. But a period correct improvement. I truly like my pace car rear spoiler.
I'm glad you do! It is period appropriate, and an original GM mod.

Calling it tacky was a dig at the beancounters at GM. Here's how I imagine it went down:

[Scene - GM Design meeting, 1977]
GM Exec - We need something to differentiate the Pace Car from the other Corvettes if we want people to hoard them and never drive them.
GM Engineer - How about a functional rear spoiler, and a redesigned front end to improve aero and cooling? And make the car lighter, too!
GM Exec - GTFO of this meeting! We just spent a ton of money on a rear window that doesn't even open, and some plastic bits in the interior
GM Engineer (leaving) - And a glove box!
GM Exec - Get out! (writes notes to suggest these changes for the 1980 model year, and take credit for the idea)
GM Intern 1 - How about some stickers for the side?
GM Intern 2 - And slap on some spoilers!
GM Exec - I like it. How would we attach these things?
GM Intern 1 - More sticky stuff?
GM Intern 2 - Exactly! Something really tacky. Like blue-tack. You know, the stuff that folks who drive on the wrong side of the road use to hang posters in dorm rooms. Maybe 3M makes something equivalent. And in the front, we can drill holes right in the fenders!
GM Exec - Brilliant! Make it happen.

Meanwhile here's the coolest add-on spoiler I've found on the internet.

I shaved all the front, rear, and side emblems and added a custom fuel filler lid. Also added custom fabricated splitter, shaved front bumperettes, custom front grill screens, and a tow ring. Interior has C5 seats, and custom console.

A super simple one I did was remove the huge 78 nose emblem on the Pace Car and replace it with regular flags. Makes the nose look so much sleeker:

Nice looking console!
Can you include more pics on the console?
I want to do something similar, but would like to somehow incorporate at least one cup holder into the mix, but not the cheap looking aftermarket cup holders that get placed by the parking brake lever.

There has been a couple of threads over the past several years where members have cut one or two cup holders where the T cushion sets on the E brake console.
They look natural there and it makes a really nice clean mod.

I have to say a combination of the 81 front clip, the Pearl white paint job, in addition to cutting the front coils.

Best appearance mods? Make your car look as much like a 69 big block as possible. For sure ditch the egg crate look. You will never do better than what GM did in the beginning.

Nice mods. I love the creativity. And the variety.

Honestly, the personalizing of this 70 has been a blast. I really enjoy the "making it mine" thing.

A couple years back, I had the opportunity to buy a 1980 with 16,000 original miles. The thing was perfect, but I knew I'd never be able to modify anything as "survivor - original" as it was, so I passed. No regrets. I dig the chrome bumper c3 so much more anyway.

Keep those mods coming.

I couldn't agree more. Once GM realized their mistakes and added a proper rear window with room for overnight bags (78) deleted the chrome around the windows (79) and added a proper rear bumper cover with a built-in spoiler (80) the cars were MUCH better.

They shoulda kept the 68/69 shark fin grills, though.

lots of mods

. lowered , probably too low. i'll raise it when i knock the spoiler off the front. subtle rear flares , short bb hood , side exhaust , wheels , blacked out anything shiny , antennae delete , obviously the nose and tail and a few i forget. not everyone's cup of tea but i like it.

Some people cant see past their own nose to recognize what you are recreating.....Do you have to custom make the headers/ side pipes and the lower valance that whey will pass through? Do you think it will be right hand drive as well....that would be a ton of extra work

Got to love the guys who come into a thread discussing custom work, only to turn their noses up and talk badly about those who choose to modify their own car.

Yeah, I'm making the headers. Nobody makes anything that remotely looks like the movie car, plus it has an LS in it, so all custom from the flanges out. I have the lower fender pieces, but haven't mounted them until I figure out where the primary tubes are going to be coming out.

It will be LHD. I'm not getting into all that crap switching every over to the right. Started planning it out, and decided with how much I want to drive the car, it wasn't worth it.

Is the LS going to be fuel injected or carbed?
