What did you have to change to have Crager wheels to fit? I don’t like using a spacer puts to much weight on the lugs and off the hub. What size chrome wheels do I need to get that will bolt up? Right now my wheels are stock
These wheels are not Crager. They are made by American Raceing .
First you must make some decisions on the diameter you want,,, 15", 16", 17", 18".
General rule on C3 for back space [[ or some call it offset ]] is 4.75"-5.00". Most C3 stock wheels were 8" wide. Anything other than these dimensions you likely will be modifying things to make the wheel fit.
Plenty of posts on here of what has been done. Easily searched on line...
These wheels look so good, stock Rally Wheel appearance in 17" or 18".
It´s a shame that those are not legal for street use in Germany,
just because of a missing certification.
Outstanding! They look so much better than the factory ralley wheels it's not even close. Glad they came out with 18 inch ones.
I custom ordered these 2 years ago from Wheels For Less…. These were not cheap. I don’t know if things have changed since then, but I could not get an “off the shelf” 18 inch at the time from anyone… but I could custom order for $2300….$550 each… So I did
Car looks fabulous.
Do you have wheel dimensions for us?
Width & backspace?
nice stance on yours…!
Mine are 18x8 with a 4 inch backspace… the tires are Nitto with a 27 inch diameter … cool feature (or pain). The valve is on the backside… like a big 18 wheeler..
Hay JetGlow, nice lookin. I've put these on several customer cars ( not C3s ) and almost have gotten to liking them, but there is still something about them,, the proportion, size of cut-out, something is just off in the looks to my eye. Guess I've looked at the original ralleys for so long these are just different.
Great looking car none the less..
Ya might have sold me,,, still unsure. 🤔 These are 18"s. .👍.

maybe there is a difference in the Vision Rally wheels which are much less expensive and mine… which are polished aluminum American Racing.. I would have rather have spent less, but Vision wheels did not make the size specifications I wanted …
I am actually not sure I’m totally sold on mine either because I also love the Torq Thrust wheels…. I was never a Rally fan….but I love the American Racing version. They have had to grow on me as well.
Do you have any rubbing issues with the 6” backspace?
I did have slight frame rub with the OEM IRS, the camber changes with suspension travel, just got the 4 link 9" coil over installed, still in the process of install but should not rub now.......
My '77 had the same Western style wheels I never cared for on my '74, so after buying some used Cragar wheels that were in not so good shape and with some rattle can hammer black paint got the "Old School" look I was after. Attachment 48140646
Never liked these wheels
