Default NEED HELP: Automatic Transmission Problems

When starting the car from 0 MPH, in "Drive", it starts in 3rd gear, and never leaves it regardless of the speed. Starting from 0mph, it takes a while to get up to speed because it is in 3rd gear... So at 60mph it is running at like 2800RPM, and not dropping down into 4th gear/overdrive. A bunch of codes came up saying malfunction with both Solenoid A and B and many more things within the transmission. All of these problems popped up instantaneously. It was fine one day, and then the next it wasnt. The trans shop told me that they believe its an electrical issue. Do yall have any experience with this? If so, I need help fast! I'm a medical school student and daily drive my corvette!

Thanks guys!

I had a similar issue with my auto in a different car where its starts in 3rd which was its "safe mode". It would also bang into gear. The issue was the main electrical connection at the trans...

The above is a good idea....AND, the "bunch of codes"....you might want to reset the codes then drive and with the still engine running, write them down and post them here.

The connector is SUPPOSE to be water tight. How did yours fail and allow water into the connection?????

The O-ring around the connector was rotten and not fully sealing. They went ahead and replaced the O-ring and assured me that it shouldn’t happen again! Does this sound right?
