C8 Ordering Process
I ordered a C8 LT2 from a fairly big volume dealer. Order has achieved status code 3000 (Accepted by Production Control) back on 2/17/26. Wondering what everyone's experience has been with ordering and when I should expect an update. Do I need to worry about factory changeover to 2027? Thinking no since a 2026 build was accepted but the window is closing fast.

I would inquire on the status from your dealer, mine went to 2000 about a week ago and hit 3300 on march fifth (according to macmulkin's order tracker).
Also IIRC if you got a 3000 status for a 26 you will get a 26, they will build it.

10/20 7:40PM @ 2000
10/21 12:00 @ 3000
1/12/2026 3300
1/28/2026 3400 with VIN
2/6 2026 car was built
2/18 2026 put on the truck
2/20 2026 unloaded at the dealer

I guess I have been luckier than that, Jag & SOS. Have no idea what the difference would be. If you were at 2000 & 3000 you had no constraints. ???
This is for a 3LT Stingray:
Deposit at MacMulkin on Th 1/29 (1000)
Allocation & accepted at GM F 2/13 (2000)
Accepted by Production Control W 2/18 (3000)
Scheduled for Production Th 3/5 (3300)
Internal Plant Broadcast F 3/20 (3400)
Production/Assembly - based on VIN - tomorrow - Th 3/26 (3800)!!!!
I have never gotten the welcome email from Chevrolet.
I was never told a TPW (Tentative Production Week), but the Museum did mention a probable production day of 3/26 back on 3/5 - I am doing an R8C delivery. It looks like I made it for a hand-off the day before the Bash, which was my plan in January.
