Default Electrical issue

I have a 1990 Vette. I am having some type of electrical issue when using the turn signal or stepping on the brake pedal. The volts drop as the turn signal engages and the volts drop when stepping on the brake pedal as shown in the attached videos. Also, the car was dead while parked today. I opened the hood and wiggled the red battery cable that is connected to a bunch of other wires as shown in the picture. As soon as I wiggled it, power returns to the vehicle starts right up. Maybe that nut is just loose?? My friend that has owned many C4’s says that a little interior dimming and voltage drop is “normal” for these cars. Not sure I agree with that. Also the car has a new battery and alternator. Did a load test on both and they test ok 14.2 - 14.5 volts. I checked what I think is a ground wire going to the frame. It was pretty dirty. Cleaned it up and reattached it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

The large red wire is the wrong size. It looks like a battery cable. The hole through the terminal is too large and the nut will not clamp it reliably. This why the connection is bad. Relace the wire, or at least the terminal, with the correct size. Clean all the terminals and the stud as you put it back together.

Yes, I do see that the opening on that cable is wider than it’s supposed to be. That is a battery cable. It’s going to the positive post of the battery.I just bought that today. Are you saying I could cut that large hole terminal off and get a terminal with a smaller opening and connect it to the red wire?

Yes. Use a terminal that fits the wire and the stud correctly. Since most of us at home don't have the correct crimp tool, and I assume you do not, you will need to solder the new terminal to the wire.
