The question really should be:
Who will win more races with their expensive car...and the choices are... A) Rick
B) Rick
C) Anyone But Jed
D) All The Above
Looking good..but his car is entirely TOOOOOO Clean
Randy--the rear fascia had to come off for the lower portion to be done in black correctly My black corvette letters came in yesterday.
I forgot about the black paint. I may end up with the same spoiler or the ACI one and didn't want to have to remove the facia just to install it...makes sense now.
NOPE not finished yet. Mark says he's having trouble matching the quiksilver, but I think he's been sneaking a drive in and is addicted to the ATI power
I'd rather him be patient and give me the quality he has on his car than rush and give me any less

Matching quicksilver with hundreds of coats of NXT is probably
difficult
Mark will have it lookin perfect.....................you might want to order some new rear tires
Just an update. I meant to call you earlier but was at the shop late... been busy. (WITH YOUR CAR...LOL)
Seriously, I can relax now... I think I've got an exact color match. I thought I had an exact match when we painted the hood but when the sun finally came out, it was, well... YUCK. The color was perfect in the booth, just not in the sun.
Well, today the sun was out pretty well all day and after spraying over a dozen cards and tinting all day... I am EXTREMELY happy with the result.
Unfortunately, by the time I finally was satisfied with the color, there was no time left to respray it.
Tomorrow is another day. It'll get sprayed tomorrow but won't be wetsanded and buffed till beginning of next week.
I'm sorry but I'll be damned if I'm going to let a customer's car (let alone a friend and forum member) get half a job.
On the bright side, I did get the front canard cut in half and spliced back together... fits MUCH better.
