Who's up for a few beers and a day of watching Daytona? Any good ideas for a place to watch? I was thinking maybe Bailey's or the Flying Saucer. Or there's always Hooters.

I'd like to, but I might be going down to Atlanta. This past weekend I stumbled on a set of 2002 tires and polished wheels in Atlanta...my brother just picked them up for me about an hour ago. I have no idea what I just bought, but my brother says they are pristine.
If I'm still here (highly possible) I might be game for a outting somewhere.
Bring thy azz over to K-Town. We gots a new Hooters here, still needs some breaking in!
While there is little more in life I like more than new Hooters, I know I won't be able to drive back Sunday night, and fighting Monday morning rush hour traffic on I40 with a hangover is more than I think I can handle.
We are still here, I think. It has been slow for MCV lately though. I cant make it this weekend (putting the car back together), but I propose that sometime this spring we plan a Deals Gap run. Maybe some time in April.
Later guys.

I got the wheels! Of course they are down in Atlanta, so I will not be here this weekend. I better get the wheels out of my brother garage before he finds some way to mount them on his Mustang!
I've owned two Corvettes now...I thought it was obvious?
On the bright side...you guys get to help me decide on what reliable, confortable, semi-sporty, preferably manual-shift RWD car I buy...for 10K or less.
So far, I seem to be limited to older SC 300s, IS 300s, and BMW 3-series cars. Not many stick/RWD sedan-type cars out there that have depreciated into the below-10K range...

When I was shopping for the TSX, the IS300's were pretty pricey. They may have come down some since then. VERY nice cars though. The Bimmers are always nice. Best thing is to go drive everything.
In the meantime, Make sure your daily driver is running good, because I bet that Vette is going to go fast!
