Unfortunatley saying goodbye is something that animal lovers have to face. Wiregrass was indeed a special cat, especially since she was rescued from Alabama. She was retrieved from that crimson hellhole and got to live in the lap of luxury in Vol country.
I believe that Val (Peter) should have won the "brother of the year" award when he buried his sister's beloved cat "Billy" about 2 years ago.
We also just lost a Throughbred, "Not Very Nice" aka "Trash" who was a daughter of Secretariat after 12 days at UT hospital, she was a special horse. I can commiserate with you brother...there will be others, but the memories will always linger. Peace
